I create a collection of textile art called Sacred Stitches: Circles of Love to honor my Mom. This collection represents the life-long interconnection between Mom and I.

Art heals. I oftentimes encourage Mom's creativity. As we select colorful fabric and threads, and stitch circles onto cloth together as she once taught me, I know my Mom is reconnecting to her inner artist stitch-by-stitch.

We've come full circle, Mom and I, as it was in the beginning.
