These are considered my anniversary
earrings.
June 2009, Luther and I
celebrated our 19th anniversary. That is a long
time and I had no idea that I could stay married that long. I can say he feels the same.
LOL!
On my wedding day I was
feeling like “I don’t know about this. What am I getting into?” And I also looked that way. My
friend called my mother over to calm me down and mom said in her I feel sorry for you voice,
“You know, marriage is a whole ‘nother ball game.” At that point my friend was horrified and
ushered her out. Not the pep talk she was expecting.
As with any relationship, we
had our ups and downs and we've grown together into a wonderful relationship. I love
him more now than the day we got married.
